Zubin Metha concert
In August 2009, the Foundation made possible the visit of Zubin Metha and the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, with a show performed at the Rosario Metropolitan Hall.
THANK YOU ROSARIO!
For the collaboration offered to the Bicentennial Centennial Hospital Project on the occasion of the concert of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and its director Zubin Mehta, on August 24, 2009. THE CONCERT, ITS RELATIONSHIP WITH OUR FOUNDATION AND ITS WORKS The concert by Zubin Mehta and its Orchestra in Rosario was an event that will remain for decades in the cultural history of the city. This worldwide presence was possible thanks to the disinterested contribution of a group of institutions, companies and individuals, motivated by the pride of placing Rosario on the international agenda of culture and by the beneficial destiny of economic profits: the Bicentennial Project of the Medical Sciences Foundation.
It was a demanding test in many ways: organizationally, in acoustic conditioning, in the infrastructure for accommodation and mobility of the orchestra and its instruments, in the daily coexistence and coordination of the different teams that were involved with their hearts in this ambitious company.
The audience filled the auditorium, enjoyed the music and the surroundings, and even managed, with sustained applause and standing, to convince the Master to make 3 encores, which were presented by Zubin Mehta himself in impeccable Spanish.
The Medical Sciences Foundation appreciates the generous effort of the organizers, those who purchased tickets, the Municipality of Rosario and the Province of Santa Fe.
This new impulse to the Bicentennial Project will help to continue transforming a key healthcare center in the region's public health, essential for tens of thousands of patients: the Centennial Provincial Hospital.
PUBLIC OF THE CONCERT: 2437 ATTENDEES
NET CONTRIBUTION TO THE HOSPITAL CENTENARIO DEL BICENTENARIO: $ 300,348.05
